Forest School at Impact Education Multi Academy Trust
As part of Impact Education Multi Academy Trust’s investment in outdoor learning, our pupils benefit from a dedicated Forest School provision based at Newsome Junior Academy. At no cost to families, children in Reception, Year 1, Year 2, as well as KS2 pupils accessing SEMH, regularly visit the Forest School.
Forest school gives children opportunities to learn and explore in a natural environment, helping to build confidence, independence, resilience and teamwork. Through practical, hands-on experience, children develop new skills, take appropriate risks and strengthen their wellbeing and connection with the outdoors.
